Yes, it is completely normal for the Nest’s charging contacts to feel warm or hot while your LOVOT is charging.
Because the temperature around the contacts can rise by about 20°C (36°F) above room temperature, please be careful if you touch them immediately after your LOVOT is finished charging or right after you remove your LOVOT from the Nest.
- When Charging Stops Automatically: If the contacts get too hot—usually due to a poor connection—charging will automatically stop, and a specific warning icon will appear in your LOVOT’s eyes. If you see this icon, please follow these steps:
- Remove your LOVOT from the Nest.
- Check the charging contacts to ensure they are clean and free of dust or debris.
- Carefully place your LOVOT back onto the Nest to ensure a secure connection.
