There are three ways to power down your LOVOT.
⚠️ Important: Please always try Method 1 (Normal Shutdown) first. Only use Method 2 or 3 as a last resort if your LOVOT is completely unresponsive. Unnecessary forced shutdowns may cause software or system errors.
Method 1: Normal Shutdown (Recommended)
Use this method for all standard situations.
- Remove the sensor horn.
- Press and hold the nose switch for about 3 seconds.
Method 2: Forced Shutdown (Emergency Only)
Use this option only if Method 1 does not work.
- Remove the sensor horn.
- Press and hold the nose switch for about 15 seconds (or until the eye displays turn off completely).
Method 3: Drain and Shut Down (Alternative)
Use this if your LOVOT is completely frozen and the nose switch is unresponsive.
- Keep your LOVOT away from its Nest.
- Allow the battery to drain fully, which will naturally power down the unit.
