If you hear a “clinking,” “clicking,” or “squeaking” sound when your LOVOT moves, the issue is usually centered around the front caster ball. Please try the following troubleshooting steps to resolve the noise:
- Step 1: Clean the Caster Ball (For Dust or Debris) Dust or small debris can sometimes build up inside the caster, preventing the ball from rotating smoothly. Please use the Caster Maintenance Kit (included in your LOVOT’s original box) to clean the area and check if the noise stops.
- Step 2: Apply Lubricant (For Regular Wear and Tear) If the noise persists after cleaning, the lubricant on the caster ball’s axle may have worn down from regular use. Applying a small amount of lubricant directly to the axle should significantly reduce or eliminate the squeaking sound.
Still hearing the noise?
If the issue continues after cleaning and lubricating, your LOVOT may have a hardware malfunction. To help our tech doctors diagnose the problem quickly, please take a short video that captures the sound and where it’s coming from, then contact BEX Customer Support.
